Food Bank Meals

On March 7, 2026 IHM will be hosting a event to prepare meals for our Food Bank.

The event will take place in two sessions during the day to compile the lunches.

Purpose: Combine Faith, Fellowship, and Community Service into a Lenten activity
supporting the IHM Foodbank

Goal: Pack 30,000 Non-Perishable Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Meals

When: March 7, 2026

Where: IHM Parish Center

Who: IHM Parish Family

•  Families
•  Faith Formation families
•  Youth Group (Qualifies for Community Service Hours)
•  OCIA
•  Kids 10 years & older ONLY for food safety purposes

How: – There will be 2 shifts for packing meals

•  Shift 1 - 9:00am to 10:30am (be there by 8:40)
•  Shift 2 – 11:00am to 12:30pm (be there by 10:40)
•  65 people needed for each shift (5 people per shift able to lift / carry 50lbs)
•  Most of the volunteers will be standing for the full 1.5 hours
