The mission of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Family is to proclaim the greatness of the Lord and accompany our neighbors to the heart of Jesus.
The Children’s Faith Formation Program supports this mission by building the Domestic Church of our parish community, and accompanying families on a journey to Jesus’s heart through the Sacraments of Initiation and Healing, through catechesis, and through fellowship. The Catholic tradition has always held that parents are their children's first and most important teachers in the faith. More than any curriculum or classroom, it is the authentic Catholic culture built at home — the prayers prayed together, the witness offered daily — that forms children's hearts.

We offer two programs:
Sacramental Preparation A two-year, accompaniment-focused program for children preparing to receive Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion. Sacramental Preparation typically begins in 2nd grade.
Catechism Classes Ongoing, age-appropriate faith formation for children who are not currently preparing for Sacraments. Classes are available for Pre-K through 1st grade and for fully initiated 4th and 5th graders.
Registration is completed exclusively online and closes August 30. Students must be registered to participate. / Las inscripciones son en línea y se cierran el 30 de Agosto. Los estudiantes deben estar inscritos para poder participar.
Our program runs on the generosity of parish volunteers — and it is one of the most rewarding ways to serve the community and deepen faith in the process.
All volunteers complete the Safe Environment Requirements of the Archdiocese of Denver, including a background check. In gratitude for their service, volunteers receive complimentary registration for all of their children, as well as priority registration before the program opens to the public.
Class offerings each year depend on the volunteers who step forward. If you feel called to serve, we would love to hear from you.
