The Children’s Faith Formation program operates on the academic calendar. Classes begin in the fall and conclude in the spring. Classes are in-person, and occur on Wednesday evenings, one session from 4:30-5:45, one session from 6:30-7:45 (there is an online option for Sacramental Preparation as well).

Registration opens August 1, and is exclusively online. Students must be registered in order to participate in classes.

We have two different types of programs for our Children's Faith Formation here at IHM. The first is for children needing to prepare for Sacraments (Baptism if not baptized, Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion), and typically occurs for children in the 2nd and 3rd grades (although students up to 5th grade can enroll in Sacramental Preparation). The second is for the grades that are not preparing for Sacraments (Pre-K, K, 1st, 4th, 5th).

Additionally, new in 2026, Immaculate Heart of Mary is launching a Home-Based ​Sacramental Preparation Program for Children. The Home-Based Sacramental Preparation Program is a two-part program and aligns with the academic classroom program, but can be started at any time during the year.

Sacramental Program Non-Sacramental Faith Formation

Classes are taught by volunteers. Volunteers meet all Safe Environment Requirements of the Archdiocese of Denver. Volunteers receive free registration for their children to honor their service.
