For children who are not currently preparing for Sacraments, Catechism Classes offer age-appropriate formation in the Catholic faith — grounded in the same conviction that runs through everything at IHM: that faith is first formed at home, and that the parish community exists to support and enrich that domestic faith life.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings, with two session times available:
4:30 – 5:45 pm | 6:30 – 7:45 pm
The program follows the academic calendar, beginning in the fall and concluding in the spring.
Tuition: $50 per student
Sprouts — Pre-K (Ages 3–5)
Sprouts is our youngest children's program, gently introducing little ones to God and the stories of the Bible. Children must be able to use the restroom independently to participate.
Kindergarten
Kindergarteners continue to explore God, Jesus, and the foundations of the Catholic faith — creation, the Holy Family, the Eucharist, and more.
1st Grade / 1er Grado
First graders dive deeper into Scripture and the principles of the Catholic faith, building on the foundation established in earlier years.
4th & 5th Grade — Fully Initiated Students
For students who have been baptized, confirmed, and have received First Communion, the 4th and 5th Grade class deepens faith through learning and community projects. This class is open to fully initiated students only.
Registration for the 2026–2027 program year opens August 1, 2026 and closes August 30.
Registration is completed exclusively online. Students must be registered to participate.
